“ I popped in for a couple coffees to go and was absolutely blown away by the bardo's attention to detail with their drinks. Flavor combinations were unique and Well-Crafted, blending sweet syrups and bitter beans with a nuance you're lucky to find. I ordered a specialty drink--a breve (a rare find in itself!) with cherry amaretto flavor, and I would absolutely recommend. Service was quick, but I absolutely missed the call for my coffee in the loud space (until I wandered up a few minutes later to a coffee resting on the counter, ha!) The space is compact and charming, with a backroom I have yet to explore. And, perhaps most importantly, the Bardo is open at nights! I look forward to returning and exploring the rest of the menu, and the space ”

“ I utilized this business eons ago. Why didn't I come back to it for such a long time is a question I had asked myself. While this Mile High City was busy growing, I kind of lost in time looking the other way. But when I finally came back here, I realized that Bardo hasn't changed a bit: it still was the Bardo I used to know. In a way, I'm glad. The background music (soft jazz) was so soothing to my (and others') soul (souls.) It certainly created the kind of ambience that many prefer in a good coffee shop. My drink, Viennese (breve with whip and nutmeg) was made iced upon request. Unless you ask for modifications it's unsweetened. I liked it as is. The lady who took my order and the guy who handed me my drink were both kind and courteous. This must be part of what they may be proud of; no wonder many have left great reviews. It was a nice occasion to pay tribute to this almost forgotten legend in Denver. As there are other more modern-themed places continuing to emerge in this city, I shall not forget to appreciate a business like Bardo. Thanks for being around for us. ”

“ Thank to the lovely barista who served me today. My car broke down and I was looking for a spot to sit and get something to eat before getting a Lyft home. I love how many independent businesses are on this street- makes it feel like a "real city." Anyway, I tried the carrot walnut bread and it was incredible- delicious and delectable! I love having unique new foods to try. My large oatmilk decaf latte was refreshing. I will definitely be telling all my friends about this place. And I want to come back and play board games. I'm especially intrigued by "2 player Shut the Box" - just what is it?? ”

“ This is a great place for snack type food or cold sandwichs. What stands out here is, SERVICE!!! Prompt, efficent and most of all VERY PLEASANT!! WiFi is allocated in 2 hours, not sure if they allocate more, I'm an author, not enough time, BUT, My Aspen and I had the most DELICIOUS Lemon Poppy Seed Scone. Light in texture and perfect amount of Lemon and sweet not overly done. Very nice. MY LOVE was the CHAI!! Perfectly seasoned and not too sweet! WONDERFUL Location is great for Wheat Ridge and plenty of parking front and back. The eager HELLO as I walked in and inquired some questions became a perfect repartee! Plenty of customers working diligently on their computers, table and chairs or counters, with retro couches and tables. Great choices. Obviously my delightful Service dog enjoy the Lemon Poppy seed scone as well, we share most everything!! ”

“ I stopped in here Friday for coffee and breakfast, and it was great! At 8:15, it was fairly quiet, only a few other people were inside and outside. The person behind the counter was great, very friendly when taking my order. I had an iced blondie latte (espresso, steamed milk, caramel and white chocolate). It was a bit in the sweet side, but a delicious treat. I also ordered a bacon burrito, which comes with salsa - it was delicious - highly recommend! WiFi is free - they give you a code if you want it when you order, and it's good for 120 minutes. I will absolutely be back! ”

“ Friendly local quiet peaceful coffee shop! Right off of the two way bike lanes on Broadway. We drove our bikes here. It's a great place to chill while out biking. A unique vibe! ”

“ After a long walk around Wash Park, my friend and I opted for a little treat on the patio. I was craving something Iced so I settled on an iced Americano with caramel with a splash of cream, while my friend craved something warm and landed on an apple cider. Service was quick, friendly and within about 2 minutes, we made our way to the front patio. Each drink was just right and hit the spot. Next time I'll try something different to extend my palate and dive into the various pastries, bagels and other offered in the cases up front! This spot is popular and now I see why! ”

“ I usually come in on weekend mornings for their Grinch latte with matcha, oat milk and pistachio. Their drinks chalkboard has been refreshed. I noticed increased prices for everything. Most items were raised 25 cents from December 2023. They still offer pastries, breads, burritos, salads and sandwiches. Wifi is still free. Plenty of seating with light background music. Their sidewalk patio has two tables and dogs are welcome. I was served by the long time manager. He said increased costs for everything caused the increased prices. But I will return. ”
